Pipestone County Historical Society Annual Meeting Postponed- Again!
The Pipestone County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting, which had been scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2019, and rescheduled for March 9 will now be held March 29, 2019.
The Pipestone County Historical Society will be holding its Annual Business Meeting on Friday, March 29, at noon at the Pipestone Pizza Ranch. This will be a business meeting only. The lunch buffet will be available for purchase. All members of the Pipestone County Historical Society are invited to attend.
The program, featuring Historic Pipestone Inc.’s St. Paul Episcopal Church project, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 1pm. Historic Pipestone Incorporated [HPI] was organized in 1976 to promote preservation and restoration of Pipestone’s historic buildings and to provide tourists an opportunity to learn of the city’s history. Over the past four decades, HPI has worked towards these goals through feasibility studies, recommendations, artistic design as well as monetarily. Lorraine Draper and Trava Olivier of HPI will be presenting on the history of the organization and their current projects. The program will be free to the public at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 221 4th Street SE, Pipestone.
