The Summer Ghost Walks offered by the Pipestone Civil War Days Committee, in cooperation with the Pipestone County Museum, are back for 2018! Tours will be offered on Saturday evenings, Memorial Day through Labor Day, at 8 pm leaving from the Pipestone County Museum. The tour will stroll down Main Street and meander through alleyways, while a costumed guide spins tales of some bizarre and unusual local tales as well as providing some history of the area.
The cost of the tour is $10 and not recommended for children under 12. Pre-registration for the Ghost Walks is suggested by calling the Pipestone County Museum at 507-825-2563. Proceeds from this joint fundraiser will go towards the Pipestone Civil War Festival activities and the Pipestone County Museum’s operations.
The Pipestone County Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. The Museum is located at 113 South Hiawatha Avenue in Pipestone, across from the Historic Calumet Inn.
